LOVE YOUR BODY

Your body is in flux for the rest of your life. Think of your body as fluid instead of static. It’s always going to change. So get comfortable with these changes. No one will love you or not love you because of your body. You are lovable because you are YOU, not because your body looks a certain way.
The most intensely personal relationship you will ever have is with your body. It is a lifelong relationship that is worth investing in and nurturing the same way you would with loved ones.
You do not owe your body to anyone, Not sexually, not aesthetically, you body is yours PERIOD! What someone else says about your body say more about them than it does about you. Look past the actual snark to the person who is saying it because it’s only a reflection of what they think of themselves. That is when you will see how little power their words have.
Take up as much space as you want, you don’t have to be small or quiet or docile regardless of your physical size. Everything you need to accept your body is already inside you. There is no book or diet or workout routine or external affirmation that you need to feel good about your body right now.
Your body is priority. It’s always trying to tell you things. Taking the time to listen to it, is of the utmost importance. Wear whatever you want. Your body shape does not dictate your personal style and fashion rules that say otherwise are wrong. Dress yourself in a way that makes you feel happy and confident and beautiful because guess what? YOU ARE.
Now that you are comfortable in your own skin, you need to embrace what makes you YOU. The key is to work with what you have got whiles pursuing what you want to achieve. Embrace yourself whether you are curvy, straight, muscular, lean, short, tall, thin or thick, big busted, little busted, tan, pale or full of acne. LOVE YOURSELF. Play up and be proud of your assets and strength yet improve on what is your control by putting in the work.
As for the characteristics that you are a healthy lifestyle won’t change. Embrace them love them, accept them. These are details that makes you beautiful and Handsome. I am beautiful ARE YOU? Get fit with Bino @ BlingBodyGym. Stay Up and Stay Blessed.

Steady Progress....

One of the most frustrating things about reaching our fitness goals is the time it takes to get there. Some days it can seem like you're busting your butt at the gym, eating healthy doing all the right things and not seeing the change you want to see at the rate you want to see it.
It can be discouraging and hard to stay motivated when this happens. I know it because I have been there. But that is when sticking with it matters most, that is when you need to push even harder.
Stay loyal, committed and persistent and you will get to your goal.
It is a process and change takes time BUT realize that you're not where you started. Don't be so focused with the results but instead just focus on the process. Sometimes change seems to take longer when we obsess over it.
Just live your life, work hard and the results will come. Don't give up. You put in this much effort and only regret it if you do. Slow progress is progress and in time you'll see it was worth it to stick with it. Stay Up Stay Blessed.

IT DOESN'T GET EASIER, YOU GET STRONGER

Your past slips up and mistakes do NOT define who you are! Mistakes mean you are trying, and let’s face it we are all human. I think we slip up, make mistakes, and we fall. But it is what to do after you stumble or fall that defines you. As the famous saying goes, “fall down 8x and get up 9x”, get up on the 9th time standing stronger than ever. Remember just because you messed up your MEAL PLAN or you’ve missed the gym a few times doesn’t mean that it is over or you’re a failure. It means you are trying and you are human.
You are not alone because reality slap everyone, and we make mistake. WE ALL GO THROUGH IT. I binged on cookies so what! You did it and it happened. Don’t dwell on it, because you can’t take it back. BUT! You can learn from it and move forward. It’s not one slip up that defines you or your journey but what you do AFTERWARDS, that defines it. Let it fuel you to be stronger for the next craving and eventually your WILL POWER will increase. A slip up doesn’t mean you’re defeated and it’s over. We all have moments of weakens especially early in our fitness journeys.
Also, don’t forget the reason you started your journey. We often meet goals only to return back to old habits thinking our journey is over. Not even close! We should always keep ourselves consistent and not let one indulgence turn into a step backwards.
IT DOESN’T GET EASIER AND YOU WILL GET STRONGER, take it from me. BUT do NOT let a slip up be an excuse to give up on your goals of a healthy and fit lifestyle. It takes time and patience and eventually you will get to a point where craving won’t even phase you. You will get your groove and nothing will stand between you and your goal. Just have patience and positivity. It goes a long way!
MORAL OF MY RANT: Don’t beat yourself up or stress yourself….. Instead pick yourself up dust it off and keep moving. Dedicated to all beginners in the fitness journey. STAY UP, STAY BLESSED.

WHY SHORT CHANGE OURSELVES????

The biggest mistake I think many of us make is short changing ourselves in life. We settle because we either don’t believe we deserve more or we don’t think a better way of life exists. This is relative to everything from relationships to our jobs, from our health to our goals and dreams. Don’t live a mediocre life. Don’t simply go through the motions day by day and waste opportunity you’re given every single day to live a beautiful life.
You deserve to be happy and to love and be loved. So don’t waste another day. Start now and become your best. Respect your body, your mind and your heart. If there is one thing in life I have learned it’s this and if I can give just one person hope then that’s more than enough for me…STAY UP STAY BLESSED

FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT

I often hear people saying “I wish I could do this or I want to achieve that”. Well guess what? YOU CAN. If you want something bad enough, believe in yourself enough to go make it happen. Often we are the only thing standing in the way of achieving our goals. Some come to me unhappy with how they look and feel, but they don’t do what it takes to CHANGE. You CAN achieve your fitness goals but I am telling you right now, it won’t be easy. BUT it will be worth it. Baby steps are all it takes. Keep it simple, DON’T give up. DON’T quit when it gets hard. That is the time to fight your hardest and give it your all. Don’t set a ceiling on what you can do. DON’T accept failure as an option. YOU WANT IT? Make it happen. Because am telling you right this minute….YOU CAN…Sleep on that……LOVE YOU ALL….stay up stay blessed.

This is my secret to building lean muscular body around the clock.

I eat within an hour of waking up. This is the time that our body sets its metabolism for the day. Skimping on food in this crucial hour sets your body to starvation mode which means anything you eat afterwards will be stored as fat. And that roll around your midriff will just get bigger. Fill your plate with high quality protein, slow digesting carbohydrates and healthy fats.
I eat every three hours after breakfast. Waiting more than four hour between meals causes your blood sugar levels to drop way too low, leaving you weak, irritable and tired. To combat this, your body secrets cortisol, a hormone that boost blood – sugar levels by converting muscle protein to sugar (what exercise scientist call "muscle wasting").
I drink chocolate milk after my work. Am not a fun of chocolate but I do it anyways. Our bodies need fast digesting carbs. Workout changes our body’s priorities: as sugar is absorbed into our bloodstream, it’s shuttled to our muscles instead of being used as fuel and is stored there. This forces our body to accelerate the rate at which it burns fat for energy and the chocolate milk does the trick.

I trust I have been able to answer some of your questions….feel free to ask me anything about fitness if I can’t answer that will certainly find you the answer….STAY UP AND STAY BLESSED

Everyday may not be Good, But there is something Good in Every Day

I woke up this morning and my first thought was"ugh Monday". Then I stopped myself real quick and realized with THAT attitude, I was setting myself up for a negative day. I know we all have heard " life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react to it" so as I got ready for my work day, I focused on the positive in my life. I realized I am soo blessed to have a Job despite the stress and toll it takes on me leaving me with no social life and all. But soon I will be able to pursue fitness full time and have a career following my passion. It's a good day to have a great day and I plan making the BEST of my Monday. It's really eye opening if you are honest enough with yourself to realize how much positive attitude can make soo much of a difference. Yes life isn't perfect and we have troubles, but look for the good in every single day. I know you will find it. Have a beautiful Monday. Stay up, stay blessed

BETTER WOMAN UP

It is a shame how many women out there think they aren’t strong enough to become a better “fitter” them. Take a look at your local gym and realize that the “weight room” is literally packed with testosterone while all the cardio machinery is cramped up by women who think that is all they can do. There is a big misconception about weight lifting. The most popular myth regarding women and weights is that weight lifting will turn you into a bodybuilder. The truth is it won’t, unless you try very, very hard or on steroids. Women don’t have the right hormone balance to build enormous muscles and even those who are genetically predisposed to do so must train in a very specific way and follow a very particular nutrition plan to make it happen. We do not produce enough testosterone to look like a body builder.
On the other hand do not tell me you can’t do it because if I can you can. For God’s sake we bare children, we give birth to humanity…we are the “strongest” of all species because we could endure so much pain that is completely amazing to the eyes of many. So now stop complaining and whining and get home\gym and throw me those push-ups, try me some chin ups, pull ups start grapping those 20 Ibs plate that you could but won’t do because you think you cant. You are stronger than you think. It’s all about conditioning your body and building your strength…… so tell me will you become a Better Fitter You and commit, will you? stay up and stay blessed
